There are many questions in today's world of where did we come from and what not. Yes there is the Big Band Theory (I'm not talking about the TV show) that tells us everything came from some forces in the universe colliding. But the big question is "Who or what put all that junk that collided there?" Yes there is probably this great being that put it there and made it go bang, but why? Was that person unhappy or lonely?
My next question is is that Christianity didn't just come all willy nilly, so what happened to Paganism. If you look back into history, most of the people in the B.C.s and part of the A.D.s were Pagans. (Pagans= group of people who believe in more than one being of power for the universe. Modern day pagans would be Wiccans but are not limited to Wiccans.) So many people across the world believed in multiple gods for the works of the universe. Basically it was fear, and the ovelapping of religious holidays, that converted many of the Pagans to Christianity.
Now, if your still reading this, please if you are a Christian, you will more than likely not believe what I am saying, so if you do become offended do not write offensive comments to my journal. If you do it will be marked as spam, and if you have to many messages marked as spam, you can be suspended even banned from Deviantart.
Yes for Christians Jesus Christ is the Lord the Savior, the One who died for everyone's sins, to protect all His sheep. But I do know that if a person commits suicide they are automatically condemned to Hell, then would you not condem your own Savior to Hell? Basically he went up and said, "Take me, and crucify me." Yeah you could go on and say he was maurader(sp?) but that's just a fancy name for Christians to justify the fact that a person for Christianity commits suicide.
Anyway, I'm spent on this. Wait, another thing, I am so sick and tired of people preaching about abstinance. I know I have friends who think it's the "cool" thing to do, but really? I would like to a person who preaches abstinance not have the urge to have sex before marriage with their significant other. I'm not really sure if a lot of teenagers really know what abstinance is, what it TRUELY is. Well, the church now condemns people who have sex before marriage and a children is produced. Basically that child is completely messed up in the head, and is a victim of the parents' own lust for each other. Well you know what...I was born almost a year and a half before my mother was married to her first husband, who is not my biological father. So, I'm fucked up in the head!?
Now I'm spent. This isn't a rant on people forcing beliefs on me, it's just that I'm sick of a lot of people preaching about stuff they don't even know about. So, yeah, suspend me or what ever. This is the internent and I am allowed to express my veiws on the world.
Oh, and by the way, I don't consider myself a Christian anymore. I believe that there is more than one being shaping the world. Mother Earth and Father Sky. So yeah, I am a Pagan.
Over and out.

the same goes for in vitro. the act is FALSE INSEMINATION and is apparently awful yet those parents who had their children via in vitro are raising their kids into a religion in which they were condemned by. they were a sinful act and false creation apparently and are expected to be raised to believe in christianity/catholicism. yeah i get what youre saying....

I call myself an atheist and I believe in no one that can do a big bang or can bring it on. The big bang theory is a physical process. I wish we astrophysicists can look into the age of that happening, but for now the range is only about over 13 billion years. But if there a god or more than one, why he/she/they want(s) to be worshiped by such "undergrade" lifeforms? Do(es) he/she/they get satisfied in a mental way or is it a game? idk, and no one can answer this question because it is not answered by god(s) exactly! And I think every religion on this world is an effect of the evolution that mades us to lifeforms with consciousness and the ability to decide about oneself by oneself. The diversity of human religions is their interpretion of a being with absolute power or something like that. And if I see the news every day I realize that it can be very fanatic and ends in death and terror! And that is really not the meaning of a religion, whatever it called!
I lived through many s*it in life, but that is not the reason why I don't believe in god(s). The reason is I found references in real life that make me think of that there is no being(s) that can called god(s). I don't adjudge people who believe in some kind of god as far as they don't adjudge me and other for being an atheist. Both parts of human beings SHOULD have their own opinion about that topic. And it SHOULD be objective, because that means that these people thought of it a longer time as some seconds!
Oh, you got another really good point: the abstinence. Having sex is an instinct in every lifeforms genetic code that becomes manifest in the wide variety of ways. And it is an evidence of the evolution of humans in a scientific way! Many religions tries to prevent that instinct for a non specific time, the marriage. So it make me think of that the religion comes after the evolution of humans, a very long time ago!
Not long since I have seen a tv documentation about kids in a religious camp. It was horrible to see how children are some kind of abused by the staff of that camp. They were adjudged by them because they made mistakes in their foretime. I mean, they are children and children have to make mistakes to learn for their life. And that abuse is the totally wrong way to raise them. Totally scary and strange.
oops, it is some kind of long, longer as I've expected.
So guys, don't feel offended by me, it is not an adjudgement of religious people, it is only my opinion!

I just wrote this journal after many years of listening to crap pour out of the mouths of others who don't understand what they are saying. I am my own person, and I don't think of bowing down to some greater power to prove I'm worthy of Heaven...if it even does exist.
